Description:

Building on the success of cohort-based diversity initiatives, 35 early career librarians were convened through an IMLS funded project to develop a diversity-focused recruitment strategy. The Knowledge Alliance brand emphasizes peer mentoring and enables allies to engage potential library professionals at every step of their journey, from initial interest to selecting a graduate program and to pursuing professional opportunities. Learn more about how this innovative program supports a network of passionate new librarians who collectively serve as resources for individuals interested in LIS careers.
