Description:

Former Virginia Senator, Jim Webb will look at the 2014 Congressional elections and talk about how a new Congress could impact library legislation. There is the very real possibility that the Republicans will take over the Senate at a time when we will need a new Director for IMLS to be confirmed, the Reauthorization of LSTA is up in 2015, we want access to Workforce Investment funds, early learning funds, and school librarians want to be better integrated into K-12 schools’ learning environment.
