Many academic librarians hold appointments for which they are expected to conduct research and report their findings through presentation and/or oublication. Unfortunately, some of us are challenged by a lack of time management skills and poor writing habits.During this interactive preconference, learn how a series of interrelated strategies and practices can help improve productivity and cultivaate a habit of scholarship. Topics include setting goals, determining priorities, generating plans, mapping plans to a calendar, establishing a habit of daily writing, monitoring progress, creating and using effective daily to-do lists, making work social, saying no, and letting go.
