Join Wikipedia and OCLC to learn how libraries can become more visible on the world's largest free encyclopedia. Hear examples of how libraries are engaging with Wikipedia: hosting an editor, undertaking usage research and using OCLC’s knowledge base API and a Wikipedia script. Panelists include Kenning Arlitsch, Library Director at Montana State; Jake Orlowitz, Director of Wikipedia Library; and Lily Tordorinova and Yu-Hung Lin, Undergraduate and Metadata Librarians from Rutgers University. Merrilee Proffit and Cindy Aden from OCLC will share what steps your library can take to gain visibility on this important reference site.
