Description:

Beginning in 2012, the Institute of Museum and Library Services, the MacArthur Foundation, the Urban Libraries Council and the Association of Science-Technology Centers supported a robust 18-month planning and design process for 24 teen-centered “Learning Labs” across the United States. Join us for a conversation about the project, hear about key findings from NYU’s 18-month study and engage in discussion about recommendations in critical areas such as collaboration, teen engagement, space design, staffing models, outcomes and funding strategies.
