Ribbon-Cutting & Exhibits Opening Reception

The Exhibit Hall opens with a ribbon-cutting ceremony immediately following the Opening General Session that features a brief welcome by ALA and local dignitaries. The Exhibits Opening includes food, drink, and entertainment through the exhibit hall, giving exhibitors and attendees their first chance to network as the exhibits kick off.

Where new and independent presses often launch their newest titles, and a jumping-off point for new vendors to introduce themselves to the library community.

Technology/Library 2.0 Pavilion

Featuring the latest products and service designed to increase the efficiency, effectiveness, and creativity in libraries.

University Press Pavilion

Offering a wide variety of academic and trade titles in print and digital formats, and database products.

Zine Pavilion

Zines offer a unique way for libraries to expand their print connections and connect with their communities in a time when so much of our work is going digital. Handmade publications that can cover any subject, many zines represent perspectives rarely covered in other print media. Their celebration of print culture may seem anachronistic, but zines offer a range of programming opportunities for youth and adults alike. This pavilion includes Zine creators, librarians who manage zine collections and a display of topical zines which will be raffled off to a library at the close of the exhibits.

Internet Room

Open to ALA members, the Internet Room in the Exhibit Hall is open during exhibit hours. It is managed by ALA’s Internet Steering Committee and staffed by volunteers.

Post Office

The United States Postal Service is on hand to take care of your shipping needs, offering exclusively Priority Mail service. Check the Post Office location on site for daily hours.

Exhibits Closing & Wrap Up/Rev Up Celebration

Join us Monday to close the exhibits and rev up for the Annual Conference. Exhibitors will offer discounts and special giveaways in their booths.
