Hugh Colton, a cowboy, herded sheep with his friend J.W. Marriott in the 1920s. Colton missed his horses too much. He sold his half of Marriott to his friend and partner for $5,000. He became a country lawyer and, in World War II, one of the bravest of the brave who led combat engineers from Normandy to Berlin.
